For Obvious Reasons, Especially Jail Break, the mute should be 15 mins at a time and with 2/3 of the server voting to mute the person.

Powers that an admin gets will probably never be given to players, it will be abused no matter how you set up the standards for the vote.

 

I can imagine all the young kids getting muted for no reason.

Players could gang up on a regular just "playing around" and vote mute him/her. This could apply for any other players. Bad Idea.

Im sure as a joke you would be able to get a lot of people to vote yes as a troll and get certain people muted for no reason.

I mean if its 20 players needed, then possibly. And thats a huge stretch, however if we were to go with your 2/3 idea that would be horrible. Just imagine when the servers on a low population and no admins are on. People can just gang up on other players and just vote mute them every round.

Sometimes the people on the server can really be cruel as shit to some of the younger kiddos and it honestly pisses me off.

 

This would provide a tool for just that.
