Insidious Posted April 9, 2017 Content Count: 539 Joined: 07/14/16 Status: Offline Share Posted April 9, 2017 Brought it up at the community meeting although it was declined here a while ago, but I figured it was worth a try to bring it back up. I'm sitting at 40k credits in the !store on the servers and I have about 34+ items bought and I don't have too many more things that I wish to buy so I don't have much use for my credits. It would be nice if there was a !give [playername] [credits(number)] to give friends credits on the servers if they are trying to buy an item and you have an abundance of credits. 1 Link to comment
Halo Posted April 9, 2017 Content Count: 890 Joined: 06/26/16 Status: Offline Share Posted April 9, 2017 I think the reason they don't have it is because there trying to encourage players to play for the credits. Link to comment
Senpai Posted April 9, 2017 Content Count: 1056 Joined: 07/28/15 Status: Offline Share Posted April 9, 2017 Suggestion has been made numerous times in the past. The result is still most likely no lol. Defeats the purpose of earning credits to buy the items you want by logging on hours on servers and defeats the purpose of donating for credits (dunno if people do this anymore). Plus I think Xeno mentioned to us in a meeting how it's a pain in the ass to keep track of who has how many credits with a give system. and I have 26k creds with 45 items Link to comment

Liam Brown Posted April 9, 2017 Content Count: 829 Joined: 02/28/09 Status: Offline Share Posted April 9, 2017 This will most likely come in the next store update. I don't have any ETA for when that might be right now, but it will get added hopefully sometime in the near future. 4 Link to comment
FLuiD Posted April 10, 2017 Content Count: 1083 Joined: 12/23/15 Status: Offline Share Posted April 10, 2017 I'd actually prefer this NOT be added. I like the idea of grinding and showing off what I have to show my dedication to SG servers and I feel like this will allow a lot more players to have full load outs on each team without nearly as much effort. I also feel lilke it wil devalue the items and make them less of a novelty. Just my opinion tho 2 Link to comment

I also feel lilke it wil devalue the items and make them less of a novelty. Just my opinion tho Do you not feel that there's a point at which there is just no more grinding that can be done? I've bought almost everything for both my CT side and my T side and I don't have much else to buy. Also, I don't think anyone's gonna be generous enough when someone says "OMG I NEED CREDITS CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME CREDITS" and someone's gonna be like "sure have like 10k of my credits!!1!" Tbh, it will probably only be used with people that are closer friends or Regs of the servers or if someone REALLY wants an item and they are getting extremely close to it, so you could be like "hey I have 40k credits, you can have like 1k so you can get your item." In my opinion the items aren't gonna be devalued in any way, it's just gonna spread the variety of items you get to see on players in the server. I know there's plenty of servers that have this, and I don't believe there is any problems with items being less valuable just because players can donate credits to others. I still feel like this could benefit SG. Edited April 10, 2017 by Insidious last sentence Link to comment

When I heard this idea during the community meeting, I thought it was a great idea. If you literally have bought everything in the store with your credits, I think there should be an option to give/donate your credits to another player. Yes, if you think the whole point of credits is to "grind", then you don't have to donate or be donated credits to. I think there also should be an "accept or decline credits" in this update just incase you want to "grind" all of your points. If you do this you could also add a stats thing where it shows you how many credits someone was donated but that might be a little too much. I still love the idea of this update and don't see anything wrong with it! @Insidious 2 Link to comment

Dae Posted April 10, 2017 Content Count: 622 Joined: 02/19/17 Status: Offline Share Posted April 10, 2017 I also want to bring up the idea of converting credits into raffle points. This was also brought up in the community meeting and I think this is also a great way to use your extra credits. I remember @Caution said something about it possibly being against the law because it is technically gambling but he never really clarified on if it is possible to add on the SG servers.
