The deadpool model

This happened on JB when people equipped the deadpool model.

Since it wasn't just happening for me I don't think it was a download error. Also the deadpool model worked for me on other servers

I believe I fixed this last night. If its doing that for you try deleting the model in your game folder and then rejoining the server.

idk, this never happened to me i havent got the error, same as kitti, we both saw each other with it equipped

This happened last night when me, @Extreme Potatoes, @All Ts, and @Delirium were playing. Whenever I equipped it, the huge error block showed Hopefully this gets fixed soon or it gets removed.

Just to add on, deleting the model and rejoining doesn't fix shit either.

find downloads.ini and add the deadpool model paths to it. Ask Liam where it is exactly. It forces the player to download all files added before joining the server.

 

I think its under addons or cfg folder in csgo.

The model files (.mdl, .phy, .vvd etc.) weren't added to the sm_skinchooser downloads config file so anybody that didn't already have the files wouldn't have downloaded them from the server, causing it to show the model as an error sign, and the correct files also weren't added to the FastDL site.

 

It should be correctly setup and working now. A small note though: anybody that's in the server right now that didn't have the files downloaded will have to restart their CS:GO client for it to show up, since it would've cached the error sign in place of the correct model.

Except for the addict skins, JB actually uses sm_skinchooser to manage the player models rather than the store.
