[Rejected] Counter Strike: Classic Offensive

I have stumbled upon a video of this on Youtube and thought it was amazing to check out.

It's a reworked version of Counter Strike 1.6 for Counter Strike: Global Offensive.

I'm sure this could attract players to our community and would be enjoyable for our current playerbase to try it out.

 

Maybe an idea for a future Monthly Get Together or just a server addition/possible replacement for 1v1?

I'm not that familiar with the technical side of hosting this mod, so I'm all ears about your opinions.

Didn't we have a tournament for this before? It was really fun but it was supposed to go from 5-9 but ended up going 5-11 or something -_-

It's not worth converting the 1v1 server into. This mod died within 1-2 months after its release because the hype died quick around this. Surprised they didn't update the mod since January since they were planning to push updates as much as possible.

Why would we make an event for CS classic when we can't even get reliable population on our casual(rip), 1v1 or scrim.

I think 1v1 has more population than this would ever get. CSGO is fine , it has good mechanics no point in changing it in something it isn't.
