i feel that there should be comments for comments just like how youtube does it but instead in the forums since some people want to post a reply to the comments in the post

That's what the quote function will do. It won't be right under the post unless you are the next poster.

I think the closest thing to what your suggesting and also the easiest thing is to quote them, as I did to you. It's basically showing you are replying to that certain comment, and you can also outline the person's comment if you quote them if you so desire.

Problem is both of those platforms are comments on content. This platform is forum discussions. They are two separate methods of content and you can't make comparisons.
