All Ts Posted April 27, 2017 Content Count: 4441 Joined: 05/28/16 Status: Offline Share Posted April 27, 2017 (edited) No, but nothing is going to happen if they do because they could justify it 20 different ways and no one will enforce it because they don't read. Here's how it is defined in the FAQ, though it's really terribly worded & your answer is still yes & no. People are gonna force you off mic and use you not allowing them to give new orders as an excuse, so your answer is still yes in that aspect. Until we go back through the FAQ and word shit to make legitimate sense the server is gonna have little loopholes like this. There is no hard limit on how long the order "all Ts off mic" can be given for, but generally speaking CTs need to say all Ts off mic, give their order then move on. There's no need to force Ts off mic for any longer than needed, and you should only be forcing them off mic if they are talking over orders and making it impossible to give the orders. CTs should not be forcing Ts off mic if they think they are mic spamming or are annoying them. That's a job for the admins. 1 Edited April 27, 2017 by All Ts elaboration x2 (nimmys a faggot) Link to comment

All Ts Posted May 1, 2017 Content Count: 4441 Joined: 05/28/16 Status: Offline Share Posted May 1, 2017 We should really make an addition specifically stating that abuse of off-mic is not allowed- somewhat similar to how special orders was treated. The ambiguity between some of the things said on the forums in the past, the faq, and the rules is extremely frustrating. Link to comment

It would be a good rule bc certain people use the off mic rule for stupid reasons Link to comment

SL4DE Posted May 2, 2017 Content Count: 1612 Joined: 05/09/15 Status: Offline Share Posted May 2, 2017 It's getting to the point where half the time you have to call an "off mic" just to give an order. If not, then everyone is running around confused because half the T's heard the order, and the other half didn't hear anything while running around guessing where they need to go. The guessing half, after getting shot, screams freeshot and freekill, and they don't even know whats going on. Long story short, if prisoners are being overly loud, I just tell them to be quiet. If they refuse, I make it an order and tell them to get off their mic. If they still refuse, they get shot. They either learn self control, or be violently silenced. It's within the rules, and it allows the game to continue as intended. 8 Link to comment
