You forgot to add that ct's don't have to be super strict annoying cunts that shoot you on the smallest technicalities because they want another kill. I think people forget that the point is everybody works together in role playing with the unspoken mutual agreement to make the game fun for everybody else before yourself, that way everybody is actively making the game fun for everybody and no one is unhappy. You don't always need to shoot that person just because you can, let it Slide

 

Unfortunately I find this is more of a maturity problem. This logically explains why it is such an issue constantly: we have a lot of kids on. Not saying that it's a bad thing or we should have an age limit or anything. Honestly this isn't ever really going to change because there will always be new kids on the servers; just gotta deal with it ¯\_(?)_/¯

this entire fucking game was a massive mistake in it's entirety

it didn't introduce, but it popularized and exploited one of the most atrocious business models in video games today. even free to play games like heroes of the storm allow you to unlock cosmetics just by playing the game, they don't force you to shell out $2.50 a case just for a 1/1000 chance to get something that isn't horrendously ugly.

even ignoring that the entire system that csgo is based on is just abysmal. valve doesn't get that 1/2 if not more of their fanbase from CS:S doesn't give a shit about competitive, it was always about the custom gamemodes. we are about 5 years into CS:GO being released and you still have to jump through hoops and ladders just to get a simple mod to function, just for valve to come along and break literally every single plugin with a basic ass patch that takes the modders a full day to fix. i mean, there was a joke way back when that every single time garry touched gmod he managed to break all of the gamemodes, including the gamemode included in gmod, ttt. valve at the moment is basically that but 5X worse.

the hilarious part is csgo literally only got any level of popularity because of skins. this game was fucking dead until skins and their crappy, broken matchmaking that is the laughing stock of even all of the other FPS, tf2 excluded, came along.

 

literally the only reason i actively support valve nowadays is because of steam, and even i believe the GoG is better in almost every way.

-Your support, you want to make a shit ton of money, then downsize your support staff? Bitch, this is why we have players cheating in PRIME. Isn't Prime supposed to weed out cheaters? Oh wait. It's still in beta, so just use that excuse every time someone complains. Also, isn't your VAC system supposed to weed out players before they hit a prime level? Honestly, I'm tempted to grab some walls to cheat a few games with. Will I get banned? Probably. Will I be able to cheat for 2 Hours - 2 weeks before anything is done about it? ABSOLUTELY.

Honestly,from what I read in that post, they are increasing staff in customer support areas for the actual steam client.

 

From what I see, (This was grabbed from a link in their post) they should/are going to, staff up for mainly refund requests.

 

 

There is no indication, or mention, of staff in the areas of anti-cheating.

 

Knowing valve, IF they were to staff up in the areas of anti-cheating, DOTA 2 would probably take priority anyways. That's where a lot of CS:GO staff have been going lately.

It's because it means they'd have to shell out extra money for an anti-cheat, when they can just do minor updates to VAC for a tenth of the cost.

There's a reason SMAC and the like exist, because VAC is, has always been, and always will be, one of the worst anti cheats that exist.
