Remove collision from JB.

Pros:

  • Stops the problem with Players getting stuck in teleports. (deathgames)
  • Prevents all players from griefing one another by getting in the way.
  • Stops accidental collision when in combat for all parties.
  • Allows Players to move freely when other players are around.

 

 

Cons:

  • No more stacking, but CT's are going to restrict this anyways.
  • I'm not going to provide any more Cons. :larry:

Nonononono. I play on another server where there isnt any collision and its absolutely horrifying for a ct. If a t gets ahold of a pistol he can easily take out an entire team with collision off. 2 tap a ct and then run back into a stack of t's where you can't be sprayed down.

 

Its a ct nightmare.

This is jailbreak we're talking about, cts for the most part aren't competent enough to make that order

!stuck was implemented for that, it can be easily binded. Blocking is against the rules anyway. Third is situational and usually not a problem, but I understand that there are a few times it happens but I don't feel like removing collision is warranted.

A rebelling T isn't going to follow that order. It really makes it too easy for a T to shoot as he's running through teammates. I see more issues coming from that situation, because it can and will happen.

I see collision as something unique about our servers and which adds another dimension of gameplay on both CT and T side from creative orders to rebelling. Another thing to think about is that there is more to rebelling than being in combat and that this might have lots of adverse effects ending in crossfire, teamkilling and overall could very easily end in abuse. For me as someone who finds the most interesting ways to rebel this would add ways for me to use my teammate as a curtain of sorts but I think for the server itself we are better off sticking to what our players are used to, and being wary of the possible issues. Having collision in my vision is one of the good things that SG does to set itself apart from other Prison Break servers and I believe it is not worth changing at this current time despite the amount of times I hear our new players suggest it.

You can't tell me that ordering all prisoners to fit into isolation without blocking each other like idiots isn't the most entertaining order of all of time. Why take away that reason to munch on popcorn?
