Here are some suggestions to improve the server. Of course, better hit registration (like we all want). I'm not sure how hit reg works, but I believe it would be better if there wasn't a custom hit reg? Not sure. Improved logs for admins When someone is RDMing, you call an admin on. The RDMer sees the admin, and stops the RDM. The admin can't do anything as there is no evidence, unless someone recorded. My suggestion is to add a better log system, by allowing past logs from the past 10 rounds to show after joining (or so). This will help us get rid of the rule breaking RDMers on TTT. New !menu items Many people have suggested adding certain idea gadgets to the detective, and traitor !menu's; Along with a !menu for innocents (I'm sure people have suggested that for innocents). Maybe we could change up the game by taking fair ideas that would work without being too powerful? For example, a rechargeable taser for detectives, which costs more credits than the normal one; Or a grenade that does more damage and has a bigger explosive radius, for traitors. I'm not saying that I want these things, I'm just giving examples. A good gadget that could be added to an innocent menu is a "health-shot" that most servers have for some reason; After killing a traitor, he/she receives a credit to use in the shop, which could buy a 50 HP health-shot, or something. Try to remove red text console spam I believe this is a problem with textures and such, but maybe there's a way to fix the maps for good. I'm not a developer, I don't know how this works, but if its possible, I suggest working on that so that our players do not have FPS drops, to provide a smooth game-play experience for all maps. This might be an unnecessary thing, but I have seen people complain about letting innocents into traitor rooms. In order to solve that, there should be an invisible wall which only stops innocents and detectives from entering traitor rooms, just so that nothing bad happens and no one's Traitor round gets ruined in there due to teaming. Another major problem in the current TTT, is Traitor red circles (T Buddies) disappearing. As a traitor, I have experienced this myself, and I'm sure mostly all of you have too, where the red circles on your buddies, disappear. Therefore, you might end up RDMing you, or the other way around. This problem seems to occur more on certain maps, certain locations of the maps, and sometimes it's just the plugin itself messing up. Overtime, I've noticed that this problem appears more today, than it use to back then when I started. Now, the rule of you can't KOS off of sound, should be allowed in SOME situations. If the player knows the map, and all of the details have been leaked after hearing a death, and there's literally no other way of entering that area other than the entrance you're at, you should be allowed to KOS the person who killed in there. It makes no sense to me that if you have enough evidence, you can't kill them. I'm sure some players feel the same way. But the again, I'm only trying to help our server become a better game. If you have any more suggestions, just post them below so that the staff/devs could see them. Thank you P.S, I feel like we need to remake/add some rules and other things like that to improve the server further, so yes some of these ideas don't have anything to do with the plugin itself. Its hard to get logs for people who weren't online the server at that time, I agree that once an RDMER sees an admin they stop rdming, this would be an awesome plugin to have if its possible. I don't want to have too many things in the menu, simply because I don't want it to get to complicated, I like the idea of giving detectives more items and maybe one or two items to innocents. The red text is so annoying when i'm trying to look back on how much damage I did to someone or who did damage to me. If the innocent is slick enough to get in the traitor room I think its fine to let him be in there. I haven't really noticed this, but if it is a problem we should fix it. I think it should be allowed to KOS off sound simply because I like the concept of using map/game sense to kill T's, if you hear someone shoot and someone else dies in the room next to you I think you should be allowed to KOS them. 1 Link to comment

This thread is not going to get locked for people giving their opinions nor disagreeing with your points. A lot of the things you've mentioned have nothing to do with the new plugin or are as result of errors. Console errors, Killing off of sound, The Red Circles, and Hit Reg all have nothing to do with the new plugin as it's being completely rewritten by the TA's and KOSing off of sound is just completely off-topic. With that being said... I'm not against better logs that show previous rounds but admins will never act just off of logs so it really doesn't solve any big problems. The idea of adding invisible walls in traitor room doors is both impractical and not a good idea as if a Traitor opens the door it's completely fair that if an Innocent kills him that he'd be rewarded by getting inside. We already don't allow players to team so it's not practical to go through each map whether in Source SDK or by making a plugin & individually sectioning off areas. 1 Link to comment

I didn't say it wasn't going to get fixed, I said it's completely irrelevant as the new plugin is a NEW PLUGIN. It would improve the server overall, with better rules and additions. Lets say i'm standing on top of the mini house on minecraft b5 (i think thats the one with the lighthouse) and I hear a death noise and I go down and one person's there, guess what, I'm probably gonna shoot him. What's not allowed is hearing a gun shot off some distance, going there, and just shooting the first person you see cause you heard gun shots. If there's any chance you're wrong, you don't take the shot. If you're 100%, it's a reason to kill them. The general rule of TTT is that you have to be able to defend your reasoning to 100% on why you killed somebody. If somebody told me, "I heard gunshots under me, went down, saw a deadbody and one guy and I killed that guy" then i'd say that's a legit kill. The reason why admining this server's become a mess is because everything is situational. In the same scenario, If I wasn't on top of the house but off on the beach and I heard gun shots, approached the house, walked under and saw two people standing over the body, then I wouldn't shoot. It's a combination of common sense and thinking but the problem is a lot of people don't do either of these things. That's why we generally say "You cant kill off sound." Situational server, exceptions all around yadayada. As for all the other topics. Improving logs can be helpful to give us ideas of who to watch out for, but we can't act on things we dont' see. Again, situational. The reason why half the time i'm sitting on the server and doing nothing is because I've seen nothing. I get the same complaints that i'm a shit admin and that I don't do anything, but most of the time I can't do anything. What if that guy who "RDMed" killed someone who t-baited him? What if the detective had DNA? I've even had people tell me I rdmed them when they shot me straight up. It's hard to actually play and catch these things unless I straight up see it. If the server gets bad, or i get a name of someone who I don't recognize as a regular that might of made a mistake, I'll sit in spec and watch. New !menu items may work out, but that's stuff that's been suggested and we can only wait to see the new plugin to even suggest other stuff. Removing red console spams based on map texture errors. There's a command to block it from your developer console if you're curious. I forgot it but I'm pretty sure @Insidious knows it. Also, I don't think we have the ability to go through all the maps, and it's pretty randy in it's occurrences. Some maps have higher tendencies to do it than others, but sometimes it just doesn't happen. The red circle is again a plugin issue. We never had it before, so i'm pretty sure one of the more recent valve updates broke it. Please excuse my semi-ranting on this post. Honestly, most these suggestions are already noted and we can only hope the TAs involved with it will take it to heart. I'm excited to see what they role out, and since it'll be their own creation, they can always tweak it based on feedback. We just have to wait for it first. 3 Link to comment

It obviously wouldn't prove T RDMing, just an RDMer in general . Most admins who join the server because they have complaints of an RDMer use a different name when they join, so they still see it. I don't have a problem with adding the ability to see logs beyond the current round, as JB has this feature. The real addition I think logs need is timestamps. Would save so much time if we could determine the time things occur/time between damages. 1 Link to comment
