For those whom use CCleaner, check your version and then update!

I thankfully was running a much older version of the software and was not affected. I typically don't update it too often cause I don't run it but maybe once ever 3 months.

Apparently, it was only affecting 32-bit systems, so a lot of people were not really affected. Still though, please update.

CCleaner was compromised a month after it got bought by Avast.

The last time I updated CCleaner was around 8 months ago, still, a good idea to update and scan for malware if you don't regularly.

Yeah their numbers think about 3% of users are actually affected.
