Teamkill (Scrim)

Recently I've been playing a bit of Scrim, but it's not very enjoyable when my teammates are killing each other because of no reason, or they make a big deal if that person accidentally shot him or killed him. I know admins can warn these people, but if the admin is on the other team, they can't see if someone keeps damaging a teammate. Should a system be added like in MM, where if people do too much team damage that person will be kicked from the game?

I thought the Match Ban plugin we had on Scrim autobanned people for leaving/teamkilling after 3 minutes/3 teamkills like in MM, but I don't know 100% for sure if it does ban for teamkilling, don't remember

There's a difference between intentionally shooting your teammate and accidently shooting your teammate, it's entirely situational, but from being on the other team sometimes of the supposed griefer it's tough to determine sometimes if they're doing it on purpose or accident.

Also to the above part about the banning plugin, does it ban for teamkilling? I'm not 100% sure like I said above @Black Rain

I agree with Reid. We had an issue the other day where some regulars were being accused of teamkilling and damaging teammates to troll and grief. Being on the opposite team, it became harder to enforce without seeing it. If this isn't already in, I don't see any negatives in adding it.

Just keep it to admins needing to deal with it.

If it becomes a problem for the team when their team mates start killing each other and it starts making the match not fun report it.

I see extreme and co kill each other all the time and it hasnt been an issue.

Its best to not add to much to scrim.

I agree with @Reid99 and @Reece but it is also hard. If two people are screwing around and one gets banned when it was just for fun, thats not a good thing. For instance, the game that I was in two people were killing each other and screwing around, but no one cared. It's not like they were screwing up the team, and they only did it for a few rounds. We all had a good laugh and moved on. No one (That I know of) plays scrim that would do that just to be a dick. So idk but if it was up to me, I think if it was that bad someone would get an admin.

Than possibly an option in .setup that allows team damage on or off? I get that we want to make it competitive but I've been in scrims where people aren't trying as hard where team damage would be better to have off. Remember that although it's a scrim server, most of the games being played aren't actual teams, we're all just randoms playing with eachother (all homo).

Turning team damage off would completely ruin the "try to make it like official comp" goal.

I hate that entire argument. I don't understand why we are so set on keeping it as similar as possible (I understand we have to maintain a certain level of competitiveness, but turning off team damage isn't going to turn the entire server upside down lmao). If our players want something and it improves the server why wouldn't we add it? You can make the argument that it's not what you want or it would be detrimental to the server, but that's not what we're doing and I've seen this sort of statement over and over and over and it bugs the shit out of me
