Hey guys just put together a simple plugin made for retake servers or anything similar. Counter-Terrorists have the ability to instantly defuse the bomb if: No Terrorists are alive. There is a sufficient amount of time remaining (depending if the defuser has a kit or not). If there are no active Molotov's that could damage the defuser basically you have no T players alive, you find the bomb and start defusing with a kit, if you have enough time to defuse say bomb time is 10 seconds it insta defuses instead of making you wait the 5 seconds. if the bomb has 3 seconds left and you start defusing the bomb is going to blow. 2 Link to comment

Disagree with the second one as it doesn't say whether you have a choice to auto plant or not (which it makes sense that it wouldnt) but what if you wanna move the bomb spot or switch sites? yea, you can't really switch sites since they give you about 10 seconds after the freeze time to plant... thats not enough time to rotate... i do agree with the other plant spots, your teammates could be put long and you have a default plant at dust2 a site, you might want to switch the position of the bomb Link to comment

Posted November 27, 2017 Content Count: 712 Joined: 09/20/17 Status: Offline Share Posted November 27, 2017 is there also a plugin like the wingman games, where some parts could be barricaded to prevent griefing? this might not be a high possibility in SG retakes, but ive seen many people on other retake servers go to the wrong site, and lose the round which is very annoying if you're waiting to play, and other people are screwing it up for you. Insta plant takes away the ability to choose where you plant which does heavily affect how you would play a retake. On inferno, if it is planted on the step when you run in from truck side I’m looking for a guy in apartments or in pit or graveyard. If it is planted in the site itself now there is a better chance that someone is crouched hiding in site. Being able to see and recognize these little things is what makes a player better. IMO it’s better to just leave it without the insta plant otherwise your turning it from an effective retake server to a custom mod and people aren’t joining retake servers to lay back and have fun. It's a skill to recognise where your plant is and to play around it instead of planting in some random spot that doesn't reflect actual gameplay. These default spots are default for a reason , namely cover and angles of fire. There's more than one spot that reflects actual gameplay. Plenty of spots on sites to sit and I'd usually plant the bomb according to where I plan to sit. The plugin says nothing about switching the spots it plants at, and I highly doubt it does that. Don't think it's right to have it plant in the same spot all the time, that just gets repetitive and boring. Link to comment

If you play retakes in any community, people will plant in the spot they spawn on, but many times people will change up the bomb plant spots to cater to the teammates' map control on their spawn. If the server continues to not do great, and we get more feedback in the future we can always revisit. Would suggest testing the auto-defuse one very closely cause on the AlliedModders thread there was a small amount of time where the plugin would fuck up, I think it's fixed but just to make sure. If you add it on and need help testing it (or any of the other managers) let me know and I'll come help test it. Link to comment
