Actually, you're right. I forgot about that. It is a secret. Also, I'd like to see that rule reworded completely to make it more clear and post that in the the server !rules if it isn't already.

 

Are we changing our stance on invisible ladders then?

 

The razor ladder on top of vip isn't kos, because it doesn't lead to anything. The vipinthemix ladder in the corner is KOS because it leads to a catwalk. This button shouldn't be KOSable because it doesn't do anything. We removed invisible ladders from that ruling because some aren't KOS, we should remove objects from that ruling as well because some aren't KOS, and this one shouldn't be.

"Rebelling is when a prisoner: Enters a KOS zone (Catwalks,SOME (see FAQ thread) Teleporters, Armory, Vents, Invisible Walls/Objects, Secrets), picks up primary weapon, draws/equips a pistol/zeus, harms/kills a CT, or breaks out of cell."

 

Technically we have said that some invisible ladders are not kos'd but if you categorize them under "Objects or secrets" then they would be. Also the button would be considered an "invisible secret" itself, so wouldn't that be KOS.

It should be KOS along with the button cause it gives Prisoners an edge.

 

The button in ISO lets the door open, letting prisoners shoot, people to run free, and block the door open. The amount of times someone uses that secret and a CT gets domed by a USP is ridiculous. The invisible ladders that lead to top of many of the cells lead to vents, deagles, usp's etc..

Bump

 

Any reform concerning the use of secret buttons and ladders? @Nimmy @delirium @Jake making every secret KOS or leaving it as they are, which currently is confusing as it's varying with the map.

 

As of right now it's still the same rule. I'm in the process of reworking all the FAQ/Clarifications threads on a separate file and will post the draft on the forums for people to see and to comment on by the end of January, probably sooner though.
