Do you think it's too hard to play CT currently?

It also comes down to the map. Some maps like razor make it very hard for CTs. Also not all CTs use there mic which also causes a disadvantage at times. Also like @Reece mentioned if someone who is new to JB and come CT they won't be as familiar with the secrets as some of our regs. Also a good majority of our experienced players usually go T for points or just like rebelling.

I wouldn't think it would be hard if people don't camp secrets and oneways, new people dont be on CT, people not delay, people give orders, people who would actually enforce, and people who watch your back and secrets(Those people are reliable). If these are requirements are possibly met, I would think being a CT would be easier to play now than never.

This post alone isn't really what you want for the most accurate results for something like this, nor is it the only question you want to ask. Players on the forums tend to lean towards more experience. If you are looking for a better idea on whether it is too hard, or if changes are needed you should expand your view from not only the forums but towards the servers as well, also asking more questions than just this.

As has been said in nearly every post in this thread, CT is difficult at times because of your shitty CT teammates- who often are just bad, even some of our regulars who have very little forum exposure. CT for me personally is not difficult, but it does become an impossible task when as is said by others when your teammates aren't the best.

The reason why I suggest things like making rules more concrete such as invisible buttons being KOS, and invisible ladders KOS is to equalize that. More than often I see the CT team get to the point where it's much under the allowed ratio, such as 4:14, 6:18, and it makes the server overall much less fun. I notice most of the times this happens is when players leave the server. When these situations arise I usually swap over to CT to help but more than often I'm not going to be on the server to lend a helping hand. A way that I can help is by pushing for rule change that allows people who are familiar with our rules, and decent at the game to enforce things slightly stricter.

One of the reasons I personally don't play CT often is because I think the server is balanced in a way where CTs are going to get completely stomped out, which to some degree is fine- to another degree it is not. The reason why on maps like spyvsspy and moonjail you see more CT's is because it is simply easier to play on it, for moonjail it's also a larger map (which contributes to CT count, but also makes the CT side easier). If CTs were given more power I personally believe it would be more fun- this is coming from a person who takes a lot of pride in rebelling in stupid ass ways. While I am NOT suggesting something like removing warning shots, I do suggest we touch up our rules, and make concrete (clear) changes that state that invisible ladders/buttons are secrets (hence KOS).

As a prime example of how to equalize that the reason I began discussing invisible buttons is because of a thread posted about it. Lets be more specific, I am speaking about Electric Razor for any PB regulars. My personal belief is that the button inside of isolation gets a lot of dumbass teammates killed, how many times has anyone reading this watched the Isolation door open where their teammate(s) gets shot in the face, players block the door, or people just run free? It happens all the time. How many times does it happen where people use the top of cells to run to showers, pool, to grab a deagle? It also happens all the time. The overwhelming majority of time these are things that are used to rebel, rather than for anything else.

To answer the question, for me personally- playing CT is not too hard. For the overwhelming majority that play on Jailbreak, they understand that shitty teammates make playing CT difficult. I would like to change the rules slightly to clearly allow for said things to be enforced, as it both makes more sense than currently and will equalize the problems our server has with a massive imbalance.

Granted that the majority of the CT's are under 15, it comes down to comprehension of rules/secrets. You'll see more matured players like @Bubblez and @Grateful give orders and play CT with ease.

im hurt... and ct isnt hard if you have decent knowledge of the map and are actively helping your other CT buddies

This right here is also very relatable since people would rebel from many areas and I nearly killed a guy for using the invisible ladders once, because I forgot it was a secret.

It's not hard. It gets hard when you have a bunch of kids screaming incoherently into a microphone wedged deep into their throats.

That is also true, and I believe they are eating it and sticking it up their ass.

To be honest, I make the CTs' lives tough. I never play CT for many reasons, but not because I think it is too hard.

I stick with what I said when I joined SG in quest for the admin status; I think warden would improve the coordination of the guard side by a lot. Currently if there isn't any good charismatic reg, CT side is an absolute joke. However, when people know their shit, even I have a hard time rebelling. It's not easy to be a good guard, but it's easy to be a decent guard. I think we only need to tweak some stuff up to make guard side less tough than it is.

I also think warden would stop fucking contradicting orders up, a guard having superior autority. I also suggested back then that the 1:2 ratio was too much, and that 1:4 would be enough. Given CSGO's skillcap, it's not true but 1:3 would be VERY doable with good CTs. In Gmod you'd have 1:4 and it'd be just like 1:2. There are things we're doing wrong.

I don't think the CT side is HARD, but I think the CT side is a MESS.
