Additional Information

Tropical Island was removed a few months back, but I believe adding it back to the rotation would be a positive refresher. Those who aren't a fan of the map simply don't need to vote for during a map change. In the event it is played they can sit through it for a map or start a movement for rtv.

People disliked tropical island because most of the time CTs didnt know how to properly manage the vent cells and half the time there would be a T sniping the CTs from the awp tower at the start of the round. But, as someone who played a shit ton of this map and still plays it on other servers, I believe a few things should be changed from the map to make it playable.

 

1) The vent in Cell B, remove it. Theres no need for half the cells to have a vent in it.

 

2) Remove the teleport to the awp tower from the back of VIP. I mean, they already got a scout.

 

3) Remove the one way deagle glass on the bottom of the VIP cell. (This was done when we the map on our server)

 

4) Remove the MAC10 in kitchen. The T is already rewarded with a deagle upon entering the Kitchen vent.

 

5) Change the secret in disco where you break a bunch of boxes and rewarded with an ak47 into a deagle. (I think this was done on our version of the map when we had it).

 

6) Add an isolation, somewhere.

 

7) Add a USP-S into one of the cells.

 

If you played the map when it was on our server you would know that it was very easy to rebel. But with a couple changes I could see it easily become a part of our map rotation. (Sorry for the shitty formatting, on phone)

EDIT: Also remove that fucking jetpack, CTs would moan about not getting it all the time and it caused more cancer than any good

This isn't true. It didn't work for a select few, those all being members of this community with forum accounts. That map was played countless times, with no issue until everyone jumped on the "TROPICAL ISLAND SUCKS" bandwagon. Even then the map was still voted to be played, because players liked it! There are maps in the current rotation that I rarely see played, why can't it be added back so those who enjoy it can play it?

Then delete the thing that spawned all the deagles. Not entirely sure why it wasn't deleted if it was known for crashing the server

If I remember correctly Nimmy had to spend a lot of time editing all the OP secrets, removing, adding, ect a lot of things on the map. It just was a ton of work for a player base that didn't like it.

Not adding this map back. The version I HEAVILY edited crashed the server, and I don't know if the new version on game banana crashes it but I'm not willing to do all the map work again just to have it on the server. Half the player base didn't even like it afer I did all the editing to make the map playable. Marking as rejected, youre welcome @delirium.
