[Rejected] Deagle/Revolver Only Server?

Was wondering if a "Deagle/Revolver only" server could be created if enough people agree to it,

 

I found a custom map in the workshop where you could only use deagles and revolvers and I played with about 10 people, ended up playing it for hours and we all had fun, I'm sure a lot of people would enjoy it if it does end up happening.

I really don't think SG has the player base required to have such a server filled up. That kind of server is, in general, enjoyable for 15 minutes before people get bored, sadly.

Gonna have to agree with Roux on this one. You could always just get some people to scrim with and use those guns only but having an entire server for it doesn't make too much sense. It would die quickly

Agreed, it's not easily with our playerbase to get people interested in a deagle/revolver only server. It would take a lot of time to get a decent population that's dedicated to playing it every day.

Disagreed, a lot of people on CS:GO are interested in deagle-only types of servers. I can name one community that I know is thriving off of a deagle/revolver only server (99% of them are using deags really). The difference between us and them is that they're a smaller community and I believe their deagle server is by far their strongest server out of 16 the run. Their deagle/revolver server is perhaps their most popular server mainly because they're one of the few communities that run one pretty successfully. It's actually pretty entertaining so I don't see people would leave after 15 minutes of playing, but for our community, it's not easy to get a dedicated playerbase for a new server in general. It's not necessarily a bad idea but it might not work in our favor knowing that our playerbase stems from dedicated TTT, PB, ZE and [slowly] MG players.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, I can gladly run this as a weekend event any time if people are interested.
