Why should we remove it

I think that this map is not good for TTT. This map is to much big and that always result with the round ending at the end of the times because traitor cant find the last innocent.The map is to much T sided.From my experience, i think this map need to be removed.

I feel like not enough was said in this request to actually make you understand how bad this map really is. I'm not exactly sure how it ever gets voted for maybe because half the time people vote randomly but 90% of the time this map gets chosen it is RTV within the first couple rounds. If it doesnt get RTV then the rounds usually get drawn out because people will go sit in dark corners where Ts have trouble finding them and then a lot of dead people complain about Ts delaying when really it's just the map

 

Now i know all maps will have people that actually do delay, for instance basically any map with a t room in it but thats because they choose to delay where on this map its literally just them having trouble to find the last people like Mar said above.

 

Going along with what i said first how a lot of people complain I don't think most people really enjoy playing this map and I 110% believe this map should just be removed.

I think this map would be a lot better if it was slightly smaller, we have maps that are just as big in dimensions but because of all the corridors it really does drag out round times. Not entirely for it's complete removal, but I see where the OP is coming from.

I agree with All Ts, its not that its a bad map, but its just too big. If it was smaller, it would be much easier to play on. Like there are parts of the map that I don't feel that actually need to be there for. I think it should stay as a map but for it to be reduced in size for it to be actually playable and fun.

@Raphi any chance you could remove or make the part with the forest smaller, and remove some of the sections on the outskirts?

 

EDIT: Messaged him through Steam. He told me he doesn't have the vmf anymore but he's ok with us doing a decompile & editing it- the only thing that should need fixing is the ladders.

I tested this map with @Bdcoll with a fullish sever and made multiple votes asking them if they prefer the map to be in daytime. Every vote was above 75% and wanted it to be switched to daytime. Can we test the map in daytime before we make an actual vote to remove it. This map was entered in the contest and will suck if we actually remove it.

Agreed, it would be a real shame if this map got removed as it was one from the contest.

 

Another improvement to make if we were to go down that route, would be to fix alter the "teleport" system. It seems quite redundant, and just further adds to the spread out feel that the map has going for it,
