ZE Fall damage

Everyone hates fall damage on ZE. Nobody wants to be doing good in a map then die the worst way possible, fall damage. Some maps have fall damage disabled and some don't and that can confuse new people. Most other ZE servers have fall damage turned off permanently I suggest you turn off fall damage for ZE.

If this is an instance of maps that have ladders that you SHOULD take in order to progress through the map, then fall damage seems fair. I think fall damage should stay because it can speed up the rounds and people should be cautious and take their time.

Yea, slowly going down a ladder "speeds up rounds".

 

And because zombies can jump down a 20 ft ladder and you cant makes it fair, doesn't it?

 

It's either disabling fall damage or make people jump and try to strafe into the bottom ladder, and I'd rather have the former than half the team getting trimmed because zombies could ignore ladders...

I can understand fall damage being disabled on maps like Bathroom, where there are many insta-kill drops scattered throughout the map. That said, some maps have many small drops that will punish you but not kill you immediately. I believe it should be kept for these types of maps, it keeps the human team closer together and requires you to think instead of just holding the W key.

 

If enough people agree that fall damage should be disabled permanently though I would consider it.

I see fall damage get so many clueless people killed on a lot of maps, but I can see the argument that certain maps are made harder by it as it is used as a mechanic. Probably bad decision by said mappers to make it a mechanic IMO as it's annoying as fuck.

we should just remove all the fall damage on all the ze maps its just a pain when for example today the zombie just jumps down a 15 foot ladder and just gets a kill like that no real skill involed with just camping at the bottom of the ladder or taking fall damage. but somthing i just thought about zombies can kill a human with 1 knife so raise the health to 200 not the best idea but throwing it out there
