New award announcement

Hi everyone,

 

We are introducing a new award tonight - the Presidential Award.

 

This designation is awarded, by either the current President or Vice President, to those who are deserving of special commendation for something they've done at Steam-Gamers to further the community. It's meant to recognize those that have done a lot for us (in different capacities), and for those that have left a mark on our community's history and operations. This award is a special token of gratification that won't be given out often.

 

The first recipient of this award is Liam Brown. @Liam Brown has put, in the time that he has been TA and TM, a ridiculous amount of time into our community. He has worked on countless technical projects, built new plugins and systems from the ground up, and has been an invaluable resource for our BDs and higher ups when needed. His work with us in these past few years will be seen by generations of staff to come - and for that, I personally feel that he is deserving of this special recognition. Thank you for all that you have done so far Liam!
