[Answered] Sign in through steam

Hello I was wondering if there was a way to fix this. when I try linking my steam account it says this. It was linked to my old fourm account but I unlinked it when i made new fourm account because it wouldnt let me post on my old account!

It seems that you already own a forum account.

You can link both your Forum Account with your Steam account to use the Steam Sign in feature.

 

Once set up, you can login to these forums with either your specified Username and password (if you chose to set a password) or with the Steam Sign in button.

Maybe its recognizing your old account is linked to your steam account because they both use the same email. Meaning that it sees youe steam email, and say “hey theres a forum account with this email already, just use that one”. Im not sure because I dont know how the system works, but thats my guess on the matter, hopefully this helps

ya i logged out of my forums account then signed in through steam and it made me make new account so i guess thats fine i just have to work for 50 posts again
