[Answered] TTT Pay to Win as Traitor?

On TTT, there is a particular thing you can buy as a Traitor which depends on your knife skin. The one shot knife shows as the golden knife if you don't have a knife skin equipped, but you keep your normal knife if you have one equipped. This leads to a disadvantage for the innocents/detectives being chased by a Traitor with a knife skin equipped and one shot knife compared to traitors with one shot knives and no knife skin equipped as they can't detect if they should kill the traitor chasing after them or not. Therefore, I recommend to change traitors' knife skins to the golden knife when they buy the one shot knife.

Not pay to win. It's something that's not able to be fixed. We can't tell people to not have skins on our server that they have earned. Unless the TA's can whip our their magical wand, it's something you'll just have to deal with and not complain/whine about.

This has been brought up before I believe, maybe use the search box before making new posts, but to answer your question, it is kinda pay to win, if someone is running at you with a knife and a skin tell them to stop, give them three warnings then feel free to spray them down.

Pretty sure you’re under the impression he’s referring to the Bayonet glitch. He’s not, he means when someone has a knife other than the default knife the gold doesn’t appear, it keeps their custom knife.

This topic has been brought up before many many times, and the answer that we always give out is that yes it is unfair but we aren’t going to start making rules where players have to unequipe certain items that they want to show off because of our mistakes. Ultimately this situation is being dealt with and will take some time to fix. The only thing we can say is we are sorry for the inconvenience but we notice it and we have very skilled TAs working on this and many other projects (so don’t bombard them with “When is the TTT plugin coming out?”). While this glitch can be annoying complaining won’t get us anywhere and we just have to deal with it while the fix is underway.

I could see this being a small problem for ts who are new to the server and trying to buy a golden knife but think they didnt cause of their skin being equipped so they cant see that its golden. I think i actually had that issue once and i didnt realize that it had actually gone through, i just though that it didnt work and i moved on. It would probably be a smart idea to make something pop up for the ts who buy the knife so that way they can be reassured that they actually bought the knife instead of getting frustrated when they still see their same skin.

So, basically the admins/TA's can not do anything about this and no one(At least I believe) will tell people to not have their skins on or else they will be banned(Which is kind of bullshit). So it is not PTW, it is just something that can not be fixed at the moment, and will be later on. Also just do not randomly knife when you have a Bayonet because it will most likely kill them instantly as dominic states "Bayonet Glitch"

I used to have a knife and it was nice for people not to be able to see the golden knife. I don't have it anymore and its okay that people can see it. It doesn't really bother me that much because it isnt rdm if you kill someone for having a Golden Knife. It's not pay to win, and you can't tell people not to have there knife skins equiped. They can't do anything about that so we all have to deal with it sometimes. The bayonet glitch on the other hand gets annoying and if you abuse it, you CAN or WILL get banned.
