new TTT item for traitors?

I was thinking we can have some new items for traitors.

1. Fake body- This tool will allow you to fake your own death. you may use it once and it will create a dead body resembling like you, saying you died from fall damage. You can use this as bait.

2. Poison Bomb- its the same has the c4 bomb but it will create a smoke poisoning people who are affected by it. The poison will slowly damage enemies killing them. The only way to survive a poison bomb is to have a detective buy a health station.

The Fake Body sounds like a good idea, you'd be able to fake your own death and so you can get a possible sneak attack on some innos or detectives. I think its a good idea but it may cause some confusion and some rdms when it is possibly added. The Poison Bomb, It looks like a C4 but when it explodes it creates a cloud of poisonous gas? That sounds like an okay idea, I think it would do 10-15 damage per second, that sounds like a good amount to me, and the only way you can escape it is by a detectives health station? I would think the gas would be as big as a regular smokes' smoke and it would last for 1 minute, but both of these sound like good ideas. It would be nice to see some addons to TTT.

I Really enjoy the thought of the double body, it can lead to some great strategic plays, The poison bomb is also a good idea although this could be abused such as placing it in a T-room with other Ts on it. Maybe if the smoke would only hurt innos and detectives this could also lead to innos/detectives to figure out who is the T by whos taking damage or who isn't.

I do like the idea of the fake body item, but I don't think there should be poison bomb. I don't know if you know this, but other servers have a traitor item call "Death Station". It looked completely identical to a detectives health station but deals damage to anyone who comes near it (other than the ts). In my opinion, this would be overpowered.

Fake bodies would just auto-kos you, with maybe a chance to stop the hunt for you, but at the same time you're giving up 1 store credit for armor or an awp. Plus it would be annoying to having to constantly keep track of "dead" traitors while at the same time counting traitors.

 

But the true flaw in fake bodies is that once people get used to them, no one is gonna find a "random" dead traitor that no one else announced that they killed and assume "wow, he must of died of fall damage!"

 

Poison Bomb would just increase the already huge reliance on detectives, forcing them to waste a credit on a healthstation under pressure or just lets the guy next to them die, and use their body to track the traitor (which is a much better option than wasting a credit for a healthstation, constantly updating location of the traitor!).

 

Dead Stations will not only confuse new comers, it would be ANOTHER annoying thing to keep track of. Every detective would have to announce when and where they put their healthstations (again, just increasing reliance on detectives) and the common innocent has no way to see if the healthstation's a trap or not. It's not very much traitors being smart and tricking people, it's just traitors spawn a deathstation, now guess if you're gettin healed or not.

 

 

And wasn't it said changes to ttt are not possible until the new plugin comes out?

for the fake body you can make up multiple sencarios. For example- You can call out false kos on innocents and use the fake body. Its better to add new items rather than playing with the same ones. The fact is everyone will get used to it at some point.

For the poison bomb the detectives job is to protect innocents and find the T. If an innocent is dying from poison your not gonna sit there and watch them die, you would help them. The truth is we should have new items for TTT but since we have to wait for the new plugins why not keep these suggestions and use them in the near future.

From playing TTT I can definitely say that the body tool would be a cool idea, but at the same time I think it could get weird. On one of the other servers I have seen/played on they had a tool to declare your role in chat, a T's option was to declare his role as innocent in chat. This made the tool fairly useless in the sense that people would never believe you were innocent. I could see this happen to the fake body too, someone IDing a T body and declaring the person dead. This would also depend on whether or not you could ID the body, if you could, I can easily see finding traitor bodies get less and less useful. If we would make them ID-able I would suggest making the cost more then one credit, as it would create more of a balance. Making them choose to save the credits or use them for things like armor and radar.

 

As for the poison gas, I do think this is a good idea. But as @Gator said, it would be insanely OP if it lasted forever. With that said, extending the time that the gas decreased your health while decreasing the damage per second could be an option. Creating more of a stressful situation for the innocent/detective while making it more planned from the traitor. If we do decide to add this, if possible I would suggest randomizing the damage taken/ time you take damage. Making it harder for regular players to learn how it works.
