Like @Karma said if this were to be too easily accessible, it will start to make the information provided by IDing a body useless. This could potentially be fixed by increasing the number the credits it takes to buy the fake body, but once you exceed 1 credit I find it highly unlikely it will be used hardly ever (maybe that's a good thing? but then why add the fake body if it's too expensive to be useful?). Additionally, if you were to add a fake body it would make the ability to use logic to determine who the T is obselete (a fundamental aspect of TTT) by removing the ability to declare more than 1 person a traitor based on the number of people left and the number of traitors still alive. For example, say there are 5 people left alive after IDing bodies and you know 2 of them are traitors because you already IDed the rest of the traitors. If you are with a detective you can determine for a fact who the 2 traitors are. Admittedly, this doesn't happen incredibly often so I would say the idea is a bit of a trade off and personally I don't think it's worth it given the likelihood of rendering information possesed from IDing a body useless Edited March 9, 2018 by FLuiD Link to comment
Karma Posted March 13, 2018 Content Count: 1056 Joined: 08/25/17 Status: Offline Share Posted March 13, 2018 I have taken some time to think the whole fake body idea over. I have come up with a few conclusions that could be useful. First, making the body unID-able, making it more of a convincing aspect. For instance, lets say you have been KOS'd and are being shot at by a detective. You use the body tool to drop a body where you are standing. This would cause the detective to make the call they killed you and stop shooting. To implement this correctly and make it a viable thing to use, I would suggest (if possible) making a kill show up in the bottom right or "giving them a kill". Second, making the body ID-able but not having the player disappear from the score board or live count. Making it a item that can be useful if the other players are not checking the score board or paying attention to the players that "are alive". It would also give the availability to make the price 1 credit like the rest of the items; without changing the game mode in itself. Link to comment
