nesquik Posted April 14, 2018 Content Count: 1382 Joined: 11/24/15 Status: Offline Share Posted April 14, 2018 So I've recently been getting in to playing surf and I've made a bind to reset on linear maps but multiple times I think "Oh, my bind will set me back to the beginning of the stage." And then I reset my time entirely. I think /r should be able to set you back to your stage without resetting your time and position back to the start. I know this will probably be hard because you would probably have to program a thing that checks your stage and you'll have to tell it to reset to a specific position. But you know, try your best to improve the community. Link to comment
Cept For Her Posted April 14, 2018 Content Count: 2162 Joined: 11/26/16 Status: Offline Share Posted April 14, 2018 I know that the surf timer gator was looking to add actually had stage records and zones for each stage’s beginning platform so it might be easier than you think. Im not sure, but i feel like this would be cool, although would definitely effect times slightly since you get to reset without taking that extra second you messed up, where when you reset now, your entire time resets. Dont know what the opinion on this would be, or if itd even be possible, but id say if it does get implemented then there should be a penalty on the persons time for using it. Link to comment

Gator Posted October 22, 2018 Content Count: 2669 Joined: 03/29/09 Status: Offline Share Posted October 22, 2018 Rejecting this. Linear maps don't have stages and are meant to be surfed in 1 go. Link to comment
