xanax Posted April 15, 2018 Content Count: 32 Joined: 11/16/17 Status: Offline Share Posted April 15, 2018 We all know about the monthly karma resets on the SG servers, but do we all support them? Some may argue with the monthly karma race. But is it that hard to do "most karma gained in a month"? Which is the same thing minus what the community doesn't want. Link to comment

I think the resets are just to keep the server fun and keep it from dying. Link to comment

Anyways, thats why we should have monthly karma gain instead. its honestly a win win since people can still be in the same contest, but keep their high karma. Idk how removing someone's high karma makes the server fun. Link to comment
Cept For Her Posted April 15, 2018 Content Count: 2162 Joined: 11/26/16 Status: Offline Share Posted April 15, 2018 Before the Karma Race began, they had a MAX KARMA which i think was like 9000 karma (might be wrong), so the most karma gained in a month wouldve been impossible. As for the "monthly" karma resets, it is actually scheduled so that karma will reset once every two months. This makes it so that people dont instantly get their max karma bonus and have a reason to play on the server after they reach the highest karma level. The point of the karma race is to add more initiative to play the server and create a reason for people to want to gain karma other than just for looking good. I will admit, its kind of annoying when people play the server 24/7 and ruin people's chances of placing in the karma race, but thats what adds the competitive aspect to it. Link to comment

This is what many community members wanted. For some, they were able to reach max karma in little time and they felt no reason to play afterwards. The resets/contest was designed to hit this while giving a reason to getting karma. Link to comment
GG EZ Posted April 16, 2018 Content Count: 1470 Joined: 08/26/16 Status: Offline Share Posted April 16, 2018 This karma system is pretty nice compared to other ttt servers but still needs some tweaks. The karma system helps with the playerbase because it gives them a motive to play the servers every month rather then go all out for a month and just try to get as much karma as possible then just leave to go to another server. Also newer players won’t feel as intimated by regular players karma being so high compared to theirs. This system also makes it so that people who just play good boy for 2 months and get as much karma as possible wouldnt on the third month just go all out Rdming everyone (had this problem with one of the last karma system). And I think the main purpose of it is not really to make TTT fun but it’s to ensure that players won’t be breaking the rules even though they are a long time regular One a side note I think that instead of the first place second or place top karma player getting the rewards it should be top 10 players get put into a raffle and get randomly chosen to be a winner and then out of the 3 players whoever has the most karma who was chosen gets first place and so on Link to comment
