WE NEED A WARDEN SYSTEM

Yo its Strayyz aka the best jb player on the planet. I am here to save the JB server by suggesting a WARDEN SYSTEM. Lately, the server has been filled with a lot of people. I'm not saying its bad, but it has been very I mean VERY chaotic lately. With that said I am suggesting a warden system because it will server less hectic and more calm. Also, a warden system will stop fights among the guards. By the way, what I mean by less hectic is that when someone tries to speak when the warden is speaking it will mute them until the warden stops speaking. It will stop unwanted chat from the prisoners and less times the guards have to repeat them selves. That is why we need a warden system.

Ok, since I posted this I have been playing T more often and seeing how an Ideal ct plays, such as Bubbles. So I have been reading the comments and been thinking, "I have been just a bit butt hurt." So I went back to CT and think the team cooperated a little bit better with communication and such. I still think we need a warden system, just to calm down the server a little bit (but obviously not the traditional warden system). Such as having 5 hours of play time on T or maybe just being a trusted player to be a warden.

I'd rather not have a warden system, we have tested this in the past with @Wawa I think, and it went okay but we haven't heard anything since.

A system to stop conflicting orders is a hundred percent necessary. Without a good amount of admins playing PB the server needs to be able to somewhat function without one on. We have a warden system in the works even though it's been on hold for a few weeks now, but I don't think we exactly planned on going in the direction of making the warden the only one who can give orders. Honestly at this point though, I think we need to do that. A vote at the beginning of the round to see who is given warden. My mind has sort of been all over the place with this talking to different people but that's what needs to happen at this point. Maybe a cool down for someone getting it too much (if someone was actually warden for like 5+ rounds), but if someone like Bubblez is warden every round, it'd do the server good.

 

I think we just need to go the traditional route like most other PB servers do it.

Nothing wrong w/ JB rn, We're all just getting old and these little kids come and make everything on the server aids, i don't blame them though we all been there and done that but a quick fix to this is having active but old *age wise* admins on the server that can actually control the fucking chaos, no offense towards anyone but sometimes admins cant do anything or maybe im just not active enough idk lol

I think the warden system needs to be extended among the playerbase, Senior Admins should definitely have the ability to become a warden. (Maybe even some trusted members?) After coming on to play after the karma contest I noticed a big problem was the fact that there is almost constant conflicting orders. A warden system where it limits conflictions but also doesnt make the round impossible to enjoy is needed.

Haha I find this very funny that you made this thread coming that I had to mute you twice for talking over the other little boys yesterday while being CT. I can think of 5 Kids who are always on CT screaming over one another to grab attention and be the one to give orders. Maybe a CT ban is the solution to all of this.

 

With the warden system, I don’t believe it would be fair based on a voting system as generally one person may be voted a lot more than others. Admins should have the ability to !w as they are more prone to be team based players and not fight over one another. Not sure what would be best if admins aren’t on, that’s a tough one.

Now when I think about it, adding a warden system seems like the only logical solution. If not I think the admins need to be more strict with who plays CT, because I've seen a lot of CTs that truly ruin PB. As strayyz said it has been pretty hectic lately with so many people on. And having CTs that just, well mic-spam, like I said before, ruins PB. Personally, I think maybe you have to play CT as a non-warden for a certain amount of time before becoming the warden. So he/she would understand the concept of giving orders, and fairly enforcing them, so that prevents a bunch of random squeakers from becoming warden every round. Or maybe a voting system of some sort would work, not really sure just giving some ideas
