My suggestion is on the server (Jail break), considering how many new people join (Jail break) everyweek. And most of them are freekillers that dont know the RULES.

i had a suggestion that you guy can make a difference to the map which will include when you join you will have to play a minimum amout of hours or have to read the rules before joining ct. Then when they reach the specific amount of hours or they have read the rules. They would be aloud to switch to ct.

 

This is my suggestion that should happen, plz give your thouths of this suggestion.

Other servers I know have had this to prevent bad orders, but as a person who is fairly familiar to the rules or a JB server, it became quite annoying to have to play on a side which I do not prefer on servers with wardens and the like, but I would hate this even more on a server such as ours as former JB player just trying a new server, and would eventually end up pushing people away in favour of other servers without this.

The problem with making it so it requires a set amount of time of gameplay on the server is that there are times when the server population is low what if then nobody on has the required amount of time to play ct, then basically the round can't be played. Also sometimes people are just slow learners but other players are able understand the rules fairly quickly and that have played jb before and can give good orders that shouldnt be restricted from playing on ct.

Yes but I don't think time would be the right option, there are a lot of players who join with knowledge of the rules of JB or have played on other servers. Instating a ban on them as soon as they join might turn them down to playing the server.

 

 

If someone had the time there could be a way to instate a plugin that would force them to join T, tell them to type !rules in chat before allowing them to join CT. But over all I don't think this would be the best idea. If someone is joining the server to break the rules, making them read/open the !rules is not going to stop them. It is rare that when someone is breaking the rules they don't know how to read them.

I think new player should play t for at least 5 hours to learn the basics until they can handle it. Plus some people that does become ct (new players) they would free kill so yea.

A lot of other servers have very different rules then what we have, such as we don’t have afk freeze, wardens, or special rounds like wardays. Having them play an hour of T before joining CT would be a pretty good idea to keep these conflicts away from our server. You also have to keep in mind of the people that are extremely new to the jailbreak gamemode in general, I remember when I first joined I started tapping away at non-rebelling T’s because I thought the goal was to kill them.

 

Obviously the only way to get good at CT is to play CT, but I feel as if it would be beneficial to the server if new guys get a bit more experience in the jailbreak gamemode in general.

I think, especially with how much our server differs from others, that it’d be beneficial.

 

Most other servers are using completely custom made plugins for this. There supposedly is a plugin somewhere on AlliedModders though so if someone can find one and link it here that’d be the first step. I searched for a bit and had no luck.
