[Rejected] My thoughts on the new Administrator rank, and it's effects on ZE

I completely agree, on ZE these commands are absolutely essential for admins to have.

 

At the very least they need Vote, Teleport and Beacon in order to unstuck players, reveal delayers or vote on potential maps. I need to stress that these are very common things that can happen while playing on ZE and a "server admin" that needs to call a higher up every 5 minutes would make the rank itself pointless. Slap and Freeze are not vital to have but can still be useful as a form of punishment aside from simply kicking a player or warning them in chat. The one command I would hesitate on is Noclip, as this very much has the most potential to be abused. I know you need it to change difficulty levels and such but it is less common and could probably be left to "senior admins". Some might argue that these problems could be alleviated with other plugins, but these would stress an already overloaded server.

 

I don't play much on the other servers so I couldn't say if they need similar changes, but without them ZE is going to have problems.

Threads like these are what make the Board reluctant to any type of change. It literally does not matter the amount of times we say 'nothing is solidified, we're running a trial for the first few weeks and will review after that', threads like these always get made lol. Also, wrong section. You should be posting this in the SA section, not in the public where people post 'lulz dey N3rf3d da admin commandzzzz' from regulars and people who are not admin.

 

I don't give a shit if you have constructive criticism, but we have sections for a reason. It's extremely tiring and obnoxious when I say something a bajillion fucking times and yet it's still not listened to. If you're not going to listen to us when we go out of our way to write lengthy posts and have hours of meetings, then we're not going to listen to you. 'Fun' commands are NOT being added back to Administrators. Period. If there is a practical reason behind the addition of a command, it can be reviewed and possibly added, but now this is locked and no changes are being made until a full review is done when the board can fully get together; Use appropriate channels next time and listen to what we are saying - you may possibly gain expedited results.

Yes, I did read your post in its entirety. Going onto the chatbox and being a passive-aggressive vagina is not the way to handle it - if you have a problem, you can come to me. I was notified about this thread via the BD chat in Slack, where every single BD was wondering what the fuck you were smoking thinking about posting this public. Plain and simple - if you are not an admin, your opinion on what powers admins should have means nothing. If you're not a CA, your opinion on what CA's should have means nothing, etc. No fucking shit you're going to get a mob mentality when you make a thread about having more fun commands abusing your SA powers for 'fun'. If I make a thread asking who wants $5, I wonder who is going to post on it. There were some legitimate points made in the original post, but your attitude and way you went about doing it makes me not give two shits about your opinion anymore.

 

 

I don't feel like I can fulfill my main reason I applied for admin, instead, I feel just like a glorified regular.
