I was thinking of a few ideas that might be cool and I'm pretty sure this has already been brought up, but I think it would be cool to have t-shirts with the SG logo on it or a mousepad of some sort. I'm also aware that it would be hard to market all this but it was just an idea that I thought of...

Same. It's a good idea and we do have a bunch of members from the media team who could work on the designs but without the marketing team to actually contact companies to produce them it would be useless.

While we work on filling the marketing team up with a manager and members, myself and @Caution are handling the marketing side of things.

If this ever becomes a thing, it has to be done through something like CustomInk, that way everyone shows interest by paying for a product but SG doesn't lose money to people who decide not to buy after all. People say they'd pay for merch, but as soon as it comes to fruition, suddenly no one wants to spend money.

I think that with the growing community and the ever supportive donators and VIPs, along with our new marketing heads, merchandising is the way to go.

 

 

This is just a quick mockup of a design, but I think that this would look very good.

 

"i just cant wait to wear my steamgamers hoodie while walking through the hallways of my school!" - This is a quote from a dedicated member of the community whose identity is spared for the sake of anonymity. There is support for a market for SG merch.

 

Just spitballing here guys, any ideas?
