Cant join CT without a mic

For the jail break server my suggestion is if you do not have a mic you shouldn't be able join CT side. My reasoning behind this is because when ever I am on the jail break server I am normally not paying attention to the chat at all and just listening to CT talk and give orders then all of a sudden out of no where I get killed, then I look at the chat and see one of the CT's said "all t's freeze" but I didn't see that because I was not paying a attention to the chat. I know a lot of the people who are going to disagree with me are going to be the people who play without a mic saying you should just pay more attention to the chat and that wouldn't happen. Another way to solve the problem is to add a warden system.

Delirium isn't the warden system not out with the !w? and that is what i'm making a point of when there is so much happening and everyone is screaming not everyone is looking at the chat, I have seen multiple people get mad about it and call them out for free killing.

Its accessible to admins only so that way it cant be abused by any new players or even regulars that just want to troll

Like deli-man said, just pay more attention. But also, think about it there really is no way to stop people who don't have mics from joining CT, the only time to stop someone who doesnt have a mic from being CT is if there is an admin on, which there are only a handful that play JB for a significant amount of time. I understand from your viewpoint and I have also been a victim of not reading chat but I believe that we shouldnt restrict people from playing Ct just based on if they have a mic or not.

Actually, warden is disabled fully (I meant to announce this), the simplicity of the plugin just wasn't going to work out with the direction we wanted to take it. This again unfortunately comes down to the fact that we can only work with whatever public plugins we can find. Warden isn't accessible by anyone as of right now.

 

I've honestly always thought that people giving orders without a mic is sort of a problem, but I don't really think it's plausible at the moment to restrict it completely. I wouldn't mind seeing other opinions on this, but I'm pretty sure most people are against restricting it anyway.

If if this wasn't an option for warden, I still think that this would be a bad idea because some people like to play on CT side and not everyone is allowed to use their mic if some are to young to... This suggestion just differs on what things happen in JB

theres a chat box for a reason, make it a habit to glance at it every now and then, theres really no reason not to look at chat if youre not rebelling

A lot more populated servers have a rule in place where you have to have a mic in order to play CT. Even though I would like to see this rule put in on our jailbreak, our player base lacks mature players, meaning most of our player base are quite young and don’t have a mic. So, I don’t think we could input such a rule without fucking over a majority of JB’s population.
