OK so my suggestion for a event is to hold a scrim tournament with premade teams to compete for a prize like 1 month of VIP for free or just for fun, I think a lot of people would enjoy this event because you would be able to make their own team with friends and compete for a prize. 1 reason SG should have this event is because it could attract new members to SG since people making a team would end up inviting some of their friends that have never played a SG server before to play in this tournament, and if they had a lot of fun during the tournament they might end up joining the forums and checking out all of the SG servers.

You would probably make your own teams so... there would be a skill gap between teams but it would probably be for a prize so... seems fair

OR, we could have an admin, or regular, who know's everyone's ranks, or just their skill level, make the teams. The server should start collecting statistics and give people artificial "ranks" and then there's a draft for teams, where leaders, volunteered (and approved by a majority of the community), pick among a strict set of players based on their rank (ranking list starts from best to worst). This helps people understand who's good and who's not good(keeps names organized), teams aren't completely stacked, and minimal to no troll teams.

there should be a loser bracket prize. Or, even mini-prizes, for teams that are the most stupid, weird, or nutty.

exactly theres going to be a skill gap. lets say you put some of the best scrim regs like tides cookie bondo paradox etc....

There are skills gap in every league around if all the best players want to be on a team ok its fine because people could bring there friends on to play in the tournament who are really good. Take it from a person like me I played in a lot of leagues ex: CEVO LAN ESEA some times I got destroyed 16-0 by a main team when I joined the league did I know that would happen, yes i did bc of skills gaps but its for a prize and the best team win I seen professional teams get destroyed by open teams

Ok, I think this is starting to get into a repetitive argument so how about we all just wait to see what they come up with as some sort of tournament. Not everyone is going to be happy with what happens, but it does happen
