Randomized teams omegalul.

OR, we could have an admin, or regular, who know's everyone's ranks, or just their skill level, make the teams. The server should start collecting statistics and give people artificial "ranks" and then there's a draft for teams, where leaders, volunteered (and approved by a majority of the community), pick among a strict set of players based on their rank (ranking list starts from best to worst). This helps people understand who's good and who's not good(keeps names organized), teams aren't completely stacked, and minimal to no troll teams.

there should be a loser bracket prize. Or, even mini-prizes, for teams that are the most stupid, weird, or nutty.

 

Like I said to Virt people would be allowed to bring their friends on to play and every league has skill gaps, people are playing to win and if you got someone like waffles on your team and he went 0-20 everyone would be mad why not just let people create their own teams the bad will be with the bad and good with the good.

My previous post got deleted before I could edit it, but we had one of these previously and It work just fine, I don't see any reason of doing any team randomization.

In an old Scrim Tournament we did, We had a mix of both arguments going on in this thread. There were people who entered with premade teams and also people without teams getting randomized into teams with other people without teams.

in the last tourn it worked perfectly fine but you can always ask other people to be on your and sometimes rng can be on your side

First tournament I organized, I made the teams balanced around mm rank, and it ended being super balanced matches. Sean's league used premades, not sure how it ended cause I missed it, and the latest one I did was randomized + drunk. Random fucked up and the drunk plow won.

 

Many ways to make this. If it's a tournament, I'd rather have balanced teams. If it's a league, it would be way better to have premades, since its a long thing with a lot of matches.
