Why not only use active duty maps for scrim, I think everyone would enjoy it better because when a non active duty map gets picked that half of the team does not know how to play the map it leads to a bad experience. If you ask anyone who plays scrim a lot they all agree we should only have active duty maps in the pool.

Making a updated thread and putting it in the suggestion box so admin have to review it.

Kinda figured that tbh. But also i feel like youre more suggesting to get rid of the community map votes and maps rather than just do active duty because there are maps like cobble and i think train maybe that arent active duty but people still enjoy playing. (Also just a side note, its annoying to learn new maps but thats what you had to do when you first started playing, and things are fun if you make them fun for yourself)

There are reasons why maps aren't active duty and that is because they are out dated and have issues and train is a active duty map. The people who voted the maps like aztec and seaside were either high or don't play scrim any more,if everyone voted on the scrim server to see if the map pool should switch to active duty, active duty would win.

We have all the ative duty. The amount of matches played on the non active duty maps is marginal compared to the others. If your main argument is that people "don't know how to play those maps", I'd love to see people playing correctly on active maps in the first place, because nobody here knows how to play maps correctly, its an all-rank private semi-comp server afterall. I added the monthly maps to add some variety so we can enjoy some more chill maps whenever the ambience is smoother. Captains usually veto those maps first, I've seen very few scrim where everyone wanted to leave because of the map (with the exception of 2 matches on seaside a month ago).

We won't be removing those maps (cbble + 3 monthly in our case) and we will have a poll up for the second month tomorrow, so expect more new maps.

Exactly like roux said, only thing I have to add is that the community maps make it even more balanced, if not as many people know how to play a map, people like roux, reid, pred, and other mg+ people don't know the map, so they can't be as good, it's alot more fun for everyone to mess around then a new map then for everyone except for 2 people to get carried by the legendary eagles that are beasts on dust 2.

The thing is people like to troll some times and pick a non active duty map and it pisses a lot of people off, I played 3 games yesterday and got 2 non active duty maps. Why not let the community decide if it should be only active duty maps have a poll and if the majority of the players want active duty only you make it active duty?

Why would you mess around on scrim people go on it to play competitively there is a reason why there is a casual server and that is for people to mess around on.
