[Answered] Make Rank Prefix for everyone

Ok so a big problem has been going around in scrim and that is either not knowing who people are because they change there name or not knowing ranks or something like that so my solution to this is make the rank prefix free for all users. By doing this it can get rid of a lot of problems like uneven teams and all you would have to do is make a rule that you have to put your real rank or if you didnt have a rank put your last rank.

this would never work out simply because this is a vip perk and there should be some incentives to become a VIP. you also cant make a rule that admins wouldn't be able to enforce such as putting there real ranks, how the hell would anyone know what someones real rank is, they could be on a smurf and or play face it or esea. In my eyes i don't see this being realistic.

That perk is for a rank on the leaderboard, this would be on everyone for a practical use, vip has tons of perks already, and this wouldn't even take away from any of them.

Currently its all regulars on scrim so everyone knows everyones rank and esea if you are c+ thats mge things would translate no one would smurph there is no point in that

I don't even know my real worth. For a matchmaking rank to be accurate and representative of your actual skill level, you have to be actively playing competitive, which is not the case with a large portion of our regulars. Even if we were to make it a rule of some sort, this isn't enforceable and would only create conflicts that I have no interest in dealing with.

All im going to say is cant hurt to try a way to enforce this is let them choose what rank they are around half of the population of scrim is mature adults and if someone puts mge and every game goes 1 30 just set there rank or tell them to change it. I feel like this is the only way to make even teams it cant hurt to try for a day or two unless you make a custom ranking system for SG or I feel like this problem will never be solved.

Lot of Scrim games get ruined by the captains not knowing how good someone is, I don't know about this idea specifically but honestly some kind of solution wouldn't be a bad thing.
