!slay Plugin

By any chance could we add a !slay plugin to the server? In my experience, many CTs don't know how to type kill in console after they freekill (usually by accident) or even have the developer console enabled. I don't see a reason why adding a !slay plugin would really hurt anyone and I feel like more people would understand "type !slay" rather than "type kill in console".

I can see it being heavily abused from The T or Ct ,I think explaining how to use the console is less stressful / easier to tell if there trolling or not

I don't really understand what you mean by it being able to be abused. Can you give an example please?

Many more people than you might imagine don't have their developer console turned on in the CS:GO settings. I've been surprised by the amount of people who say, "what's console"? Isn't telling them to type "!slay" easier than taking them through step by step on how to turn on their console and then type "kill"?

Well, all you have to do is just tell them to do it. It would be unnecessary work to add a plugin that make's a sentence shorter.

No. He is suggesting giving the ability for a CT to just type !slay and it will slay them rather than having to type kill in console after they freekill or w/e else they slay for.

 

 

 

I think it's a good idea since as it's been mentioned, not everyone has console enabled or knows how to use it. Sure, you can walk them through the process but in reality, it's not the time or place for it. In my experiences on the server, it's too fast paced for that kind of lesson and usually you'll have some people screaming about slaying yourself so it's harder to figure it out. This would eliminate confusion and help against those instances where people are losing their shit over someone not slaying themself because they can't figure it out in time.

 

I'd name it !kill or something though cause !slay would conflict with the admin command.
