[JB Feedback] Breaking Vents

Do you guys think breaking vents should be KOS, why or why not?

 

Currently breaking vents is not KOS, but I could see reasons for either direction. For me I'm open to the idea of them being KOS, but I think it would make rebelling that much harder (which might be a good thing on a server like ours).

As someone who before recently becoming consistantly active, who would join and come back at differing times to different rule changes, I think this would be a very good addition to the rules.

 

BUT, I do not think breaking vents in cells or the wall that can be broken in razer should be considered kos, as sometimes I will break them and not even use them.

 

The official rule that I think would add some ease for CTs in many T-sided maps would be any vent/ "vent-wall", for lack of a better term, broken outside of cells would make the T KOS.

In my opinion I don't think that breaking vents should not be KOS as the vents by themselves are already a choke point for the Ts as they can only fit mostly one by one and its easy to kill them. For exmaple the electric razor vents once the ts drop in the vents have no option of escape besides armoury and since the vent is long af, it easily allows for aware cts to fuck em up by making it to armoury before the ts can run it. This is the same for most of the maps that have vents to armoury so imo i think that breaking vents should not be kos.

I personally think Breaking vents shouldn't be Kos , there not rebelling but they should receive a warning shot for delaying for instance not being on boxes inside big cage , It would make rebelling twice as hard , or You could make breaking vents Kos but if we decide that is the answer for In that case I think Cts should be in Vents with A reason instead of waiting for someone to drop in Like i have seen in the past .That said Said i also suggest if we make that rule Cts have to say im pursuing this inmate/name into vents

I mean, if breaking a vent is KOSable I think rebelling would be really hard for some people and it just discourages people from rebelling. I get that the point of the game is to control the Ts but like I feel like that's too much control for the CTs. I also think that's gonna be some BS rule the CTs are gonna abuse. But then again, I could see why people can think it should be KOSable.

In my opinion the rule should stay the same because it would be really hard for the Ts to be able to use the vents to rebel because if a CT is watching them then they can just spray them down. Vents will pretty much be useless for the Ts except for when the entire T side is rebelling vs a few CTs hiding somewhere.

That is something that should be avoided at all costs. Creating rules for a certain specific map is a bad idea, and rules are created to befit all maps. That is why all invisible ladders(unless unavoidable) are KOS, as well as invisible buttons(same thing goes for them).

In my opinion i don't want to see kosable vents because I feel that is just harsh for swiping at a vent. I have a suggestion how about you make that when the t knifes the vent they are allowed to warning shot them no matter the order. Forexample if the map is razor and the order is freeday and a t starts to knife the vent in big cage a ct would be allowed to warning shot them and if the t continued the ct would then be able to kill them. The reason I think this is best because it is little bit of both sides. It helps the cts but doesn't completely hinder the ts.

As a normal rebel and Prison Guard, I think that breaking vents should NOT be kosable; My reasoning for that is because, most people that break vents don't even use it. They break it incase they wanna rebel or want to make an opening for teammates. When I know that there is a vent in the location i'm asking the Ts to go towards, I usually just say Breaking Vents is delaying so if they break the vents and I see who did it I can give them a warning shot for breaking/knifing it.

 

Breaking vents should not be kosable.
