[JB Feedback] Special Days

In the past there has been Special Days plugins suggested and we want to know what you guys think about our server having one. This is done by many other servers to spice gameplay up, but if we added it we wouldn't want it to detract from the main game mode but just supplement it every so often when people are feeling bored. We don't not have anything made nor have we even come to a decision about this yet but the general idea we have for a plugin is so that the only person who could use this plugin is the person who picks up first order, it would then start a vote for which type of special day everyone wants (Ts and CTs included), whichever day is voted on would begin the round thereafter (including an option to not do one at all). A special round could only occur every 6 rounds or possibly a hard-time limit like 10-15 minutes.

 

Our server being the deathmatch it is I wouldn't really want any ridiculous weird shit like anti-gravity, but more of game modes like Protect the VIP among other ones that let the round be played somewhat like it would normally. We want to hear about how would you like to see this done, what type of days you would like to see, and whether you would like to see this added in the first place. I personally wouldn't mind adding this with only VIP and a few other things, leaving it with gamemodes that match our servers play style rather than overly-detracting from it with crazy Zombie modes or other weird shit.

I wouldn't mind having special days if they were limited to every 5-6 rounds. Days where everyone gets 2x speed, inverted FOV, not anti-gravity but maybe lowered gravity and days where W makes you go backwards, A makes you go right (you get the idea) would add an interesting effect to the server. I think wardays should be listed under the special days (for a short period of time atleast to see if people like it). I think this plugin should be added to the servers for a short period of time for testing so that people see if they want it to stay.

This plugin should be added because server is always the same thing, rebelling , so we need something different to change the gameplay of every maps. People attend to events and like them, I do not see why people would hate this plugin

Definitely see this as a feasible addition, definitely should try to ease wardays into the server with this plugin too.

I support the addition of "Special days" into JailBreak as they increase the variety of the gameplay rather then just the same routine of cycling from front of cells to places like big cage and pool every round. I would space out these days by 5-6 days like ray said.

I believe that a big reason why players stopped playing JB is due to the lack of variety in the gamemode. People love things like wardays, and althought they are obviously against the rules, cts will say at the beginning of the round "freeday no soccer" and leave armory and all stay in soccer. These types of rounds keep the players excited and wanting to play another. Although I think it's important we keep to our vanilla roots and do like the idea of a cooldown, don't know how long would be appropriate but it needs to be a time not too far where players would get off and only join back just before it again but also where it doesnt feels overwhelming.

i feel like JB players would enjoy "special rounds" and jb wouldnt be as repetitive and would be more enjoyable.

I would love to play special rounds, rounds would always become very boring because it’s almost every single day where the CT’s give us a free day. I have a few suggestions for special rounds.

 

War Day - it’s basically a day where it’s the CT’s vs. the T’s. The CT’s would have to camp together in any particular place and the T’s will have to try to rush and kill all of them.

 

Hide-and-seek The T’s would be given about 1 minute or so to hide anywhere on the map and after the hiding part is done the CT’s will have to get out of armory to try to look and kill any T’s they find. I believe the T’s should be allowed to kill the CT’s if they somehow got a gun while trying to hide.

 

There’s a couple other special rounds that would be fun to play on jailbreak that I played on other servers but I don’t completely know the rules or what it’s even called.

I think that this is a great idea to try out on the server. Not only will it make rounds more fun for the T's, it will give the CT's a break if we include things like War-Days in with these "Special Days." Hopefully we can get something out and ready to test ASAP. Very nice c:
