[Suggestion] Donator Vote Kick

I would like to see a vote kick system added for only VIP and SUB, because there are ALOT of times where there is a rule breaker online, and no admins to help, causing more problems, salty players, and over all an unhappy experience. Like if you agree.

In all seriousness, we have player complaints for a reason and we don't want to give powers to people who pay but rather people who can be trusted into becoming an admin.

Seeing as how this is basically a pay-to-win perk, something like this will likely never be added since you'd essentially be paying for admin and the Sub/VIP perks are not supposed to impact game play and give you an advantage over others (pay-to-win).

I've seen people on servers form a witch hunt mob mentality easily and could be easily abused. I've heard younger high pitched voice kids being treated badly just based off their voice rather than whether they break the rules or not. Like everyone said, I'd trust admins to know the fine line between when someone is rule breaking and when someone is just coming off as annoying but I don't trust subs/vip to differentiate between that.

I think this is one of the ideas SG has been pretty unfair towards without looking at specific plugins or thinking of a concept in order to try giving the idea a chance.

 

If someone is mass freekilling on Jailbreak for rounds on end, there is no admin on, a VIP being able to start a vote with more than 20 people on, to get a 75% vote to remove them from the server through just a kick (not a time-out or ban) does not seem harmful whatsoever. You could also have an adjusting percentage depending how many people are online, or when a lower amount of people are on maybe just disable it all-together to avoid abuse. A lot of the times I'm administrating after kicking someone they don't even both to join back and I really feel like it would be a very similar situation here. Anyway, I completely understand why people wouldn't want this especially if you're thinking about it in the simple basis of just over a 50% jailbreak population bullying some poor kid, but I don't personally believe this idea is as bad as people have made it out to be.

But when it comes down to it, this will never be the case, you will always have players that like to screw around and jokingly break rules. Keeping this in mind, if one of those players had VIP and decided to jokingly start a bit because there was a player wil an annoying voice or not many people liked them, it could easily cause them to be kicked. I can point out multiple people that this would apply to, victim and culprit.

Dismissing an idea based on something that could be easily monitored is pretty narrow-minded.

The point I'm making isn't that it will never be abused, the point I am making is that people shoot down opinions with really simple logic without attempting to make it work. I personally don't believe something like this would hurt the community nearly as much as it would help and I think people who do believe it's an awful idea aren't really thinking of the numbers surrounding the idea and mechanics that can be implemented to prevent abuse. We have a ton of things on the servers that can be abused but are there for the sake of gameplay that is balanced to an extent. I don't see this as any different.

The only good option for this is to just not have it. We get so many subscribers/VIP that get banned here for a lot of things, so clearly VIP doesn't equate to maturity.

 

Only way it could work is if they handpicked who can get VIP, and that's not gonna happen.

 

Perhaps have applications for something like Light admin? You don't get full admin abilities, but they can decide if you're trustworthy or mature enough to use vote kick.

 

Even then, I don't see that happening.
