So I've been playing surf a lot grinding for a better server record on beginner and I thought on bhop and surf we could have hud disabling commands, this would make people less distracted by !knife !gloves and !ws. Would be nice to have atleast /hidearms if this is impossible.

To hide your arms just drop all of your weapons. The server allows you to drop your knife so you have nothing and there's no viewmodel.

 

As for nohud, you can type cl_drawhud 0 in console. We can use rcon to make it a chat command.

I made this thread because thats just not how the server works. On surf you can't drop all your weapons, and also there is still the hp, timer, etc. And also, cl_drawhud 0 doesn't work because sv_cheats are disabled. cl_draw_only_deathnotices 1 works but when spectating your previous record to try and record it you still get the huge ass spectator information box.

cl_draw_only_deathnotices is not cheats protected. For sourcemod you want to change boolean sethudvisibility on player himself if you want to do it that way.
