Hey guys Four here!

 

Alright let's get to it.

This is something our server has never done in the past but it could be beneficial.

 

Jailbreak is constantly the same round after round. What if in the middle of the game there would be one/two round(s) per map that would be sort of a minigame! I know there is going to be someone that will say "well this just sounds like something you would do on the minigames server"... Yes but hear me out. One of the CTs could initiate the minigame by a special command or possibly just admins so it doesn't get abused. I will now explain a few minigames that I have seen on other servers that we could turn into our own as well as ideas that I have personally thought of.

 

Freeze tag

 

Round starts

Auto-hop enabled

No guns, just knifes

Ts try to run away from CTs

If the CTs freeze all the Ts (knife the Ts) they win

Ts are able to unfreeze their teammates

However there is a catch, to speed up the round if a T is unfrozen and gets tagged again, the CT then can kill that T while he is frozen

 

Snowball fight

 

Round starts

Knives only (Snowball is decoy)

Free for all or CT vs T

Each time you hit the enemy with a snowball (decoy) it does dmg and slows them

For x amount of time you are able to knife them while they are slowed

Once no longer slowed you can no longer knife them and have to hit them with a decoy again to start the process over

 

Sonic Mode

Round starts

Ts have 2x speed

CTs have normal speed but 125-150 health

Normal rules

 

BB Gun Mode

 

Round starts

DMG reduced by 25-50%

normal rules

 

Bunny Mode

 

Round Starts

Auto-Hop enabled

normal rules

 

Jailbreak is great, however to spice things up we should try implementing some type of fun activities that could happen by activating a command or it could be random. We could also do model/skin themed events. Also during certain holidays or times of the years we could switch the models to match the theme.

 

Examples

Halloween - Ts could be Zombies/Mummies/Ghosts/Skeletons while CTs could be Humans

Christmas - Ts could be Elves while CTs could be Santa

We could have months dedicated to skin themes

Anime month

Star wars month

 

I love the jailbreak server, I know I haven't had the best reputation lately but I am trying to turn that around and make a positive impact on the community. Please take these suggestions seriously and I can add on more to this thread with suggestions that I think of.. I am not sure how any of these could get implemented.. possibly turn these into monthly events.

You got some great ideas here but I didnt really understand the Snowball fight mode. Who tell you people will not cheat and just knife Ts without hitting them with a decoy. Its a really nice idea but its gonna take a lot of time to prepare this. If you guys accept to add this to JB, Im down for it. It would be really fun and change the gameplay a bit

We've posted about this multiple times, including the JB 2.0 thread in the Jailbreak section and feedback threads. We're interested in a special days Plugin but we don't want to do it until we have game modes or days that we feel are actually fun. Some of the ones you suggested here are decent, others I'm not too interested in subjecting people to. There's also issues with how this would actually be implemented, every 1 or 2 rounds is too much, who would pick the rounds and why would they not pick a round that just makes the CTs more likely to win. If the whole special days thing gets implemented it's going to have to be essentially voted on the round before, initiated once every 5 rounds and it'll only be released when we're confident that it's actually going to add fun to the server. Right now I haven't been too insanely active as I've been on a little hiatus due to some in real life shit, but we're going to be picking back up with plans for the server real soon and this is on our agenda.
