Promotions!

Hey everyone,

 

It's time for some promotions! We've got a few this time around:

 

To Server Representative (which will be changing back to being called Community Advisor soon), we have Charlie, Will, Ned, Manny, Military King, and ! Their new duties are:

 

 

Work with the higher staff on implementing important decisions and projects

Handling player complaints and issuing bans

Moderation of the forum

Give awards to members on request

Send group invitations to members on request

Post in-game server problems on the forum

Help in any way to make the servers fun

Handle reported posts on the forum

Work with the AT(s) officially running the servers on suggestions, requests and server-related opportunities

Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the server they represent

Coordinate with ATs to run server-based meetings

Along with ATs, they can work with the events team on server events they would like to see

Help with managing a public to-do list for their server

Bring community suggestions to the AT(s) responsible for discussion

Communicating server/community's wishes to ATs

 

To the Administrative Team, we are promoting Grateful, Wavy, Tides, and Papa! Their new duties are:

 

Verify that servers are operational

Reboot dead/lagged servers

Assist in training new admins

Monitor the Teamspeak 3 server

Grant access rights to Teamspeak 3

Search for new maps for all servers

Upload maps to the servers and fast downloads site

Edit map lists & rotations

Issue permanent bans to players via request from SA's

 

 

Congrats to all these hard-working members, you are sure to be busy during this holiday season! These guys (and lady) have worked their butts off and deserve some recognition and some extra responsibilities.

 

Additionally, we are disbanding the Marketing Team. It was a great idea that had a lot of hard work and effort put into it, but unfortunately we just do not see a need to keep it around for now - but maybe it will be brought back in the future! We are also going to be removing having 'manager' positions, and just have a BD in charge of each team - with the exception of the TA team. Nishok has been around this place forever, was a BD even before I was, and has proven time and time again that he can successfully lead a team...so, for now, we are leaving him as the manager of the TA's!

 

And lastly: we will be having a community meeting on Sunday, the 16th of December. The time is TBD, and expect at least a CA+ meeting to follow.
