The recent change in requirements needed to become an admin made me think how member ranks should change. If being an admin only requires a minimum of 10 post on the forums then why should being the rank Regular require a minimum of 50 post. Shouldn’t our admins already be Regulars? I’m not sure how permanent the 10 post requirement will be but if it stays than member rank Regular should probably change also.

I’d want this post to be more of a discussion then me just asking for you guys to lower the requirements.

Let me know what you guys think, appreciate all feedback.

I agree that you should be a regular on the forums before/as you are able to apply for admin and that discussion will come in the near future. But the more important issue of the admin application requirements should come first whether we increase it or keep it the same, the question on what we should change regular to will follow I find it hard to determine what the post requirement should be with out knowing the final decision on the admin application requirements.

The way it is setup right now is not how it will be forever. This is a temporary change to address an issue.
