Hi, I play on the JB server mainly. I have noticed recently that the admins often don't do anything or selectively enforce rules among many other problems. There are a few examples, a couple I can describe, many that are hard to pinpoint facts but I have witnessed. Often on electric revamp, some admins will hang out in the one way under the big cage and not enforce, just kill anyone that comes. Another occurred just hours ago where an admin on CT couldn't find a T so they teleported the T to them self and shot them. Another demonstration of this behavior was just about 30 minutes ago when there were four admins on, none enforcing rules, and not doing their jobs to which point the ratio got from about 2:1 to 18:1, which I have screenshots of. They finally noticed the ratio THEN changed after I pointed it out many times. Also during this time the admins were fighting and accusing players of doing random stuff just so they could "flex" their admin powers. Weird flex but okay. They kept slaying each other and other fun stuff like that while raising their voices so the period of time that they were flexing on each other it was almost impossible to play. If staff were to actually do the responsible thing and uphold the server to the quality it deserves the players might have a good experience. A great example of this is player count. I have noticed that player count decreases the more admins that are on. You can go from about 40+ players to 25 when only 2 admins are on because of the pure fact that they are just very rude and overbearing. There should be measures in place for these admins to be held accountable to their roles better by each other and the community. I appreciate you reading and hope that you understand.

If you really have a problem with a certain admin with proof, you can make an admin complaint HERE. But only use this if they are actually breaking an admin rule, which you can find the list of rules under the guides tab.

Btw on some maps like electric razor or revamp the ratio is fine if its messed up because on maps like that its easy for the T's to rebel. If there is an admin that is "abusing their powers" you can always record it and make a admin complaint.

The problem is not admins doing stuff against the rules, well it is sometimes, it’s more that they don’t really care and just create a toxic environment for players. The only reason I don’t just go find another JB server is because when there aren’t admins on making it a toxic environment it’s fun to play on. I understand the need for having admins and making sure the server stays in order but it’s not all about admins, it’s about the players too. When I can’t even hear anyone else besides the screaming admins what’s the point of even playing.

I was playing tonight alongside @Grateful, @H4XOR, @Davie, @Ray, @Gentoo, @Kicks, @ThRza plus plenty more. The server was amazing, only issue I recall was a hyperscroller @H4XOR took care of. Population was thriving and I cannot recall 1 person not enjoying the server. Your claims are shocking, but I don't see a realistic correlation based on my playtime.

To be fair when you get as many admins together as gumline listed, I'm sure there was a steady flow of admin commands being used. While that's not a "toxic environment" and in no way admin abuse, I can understand the annoyance. Perhaps that is his problem...but by the same virtue if there were no admins, rules definitely wouldn't be enforced.

 

Simple answer is get some big-dick admins so there is no question of who is bigger. ^_^

I’m not here to start anything Gumline. I’m just pointing out what I have noticed as I play. I would like to point out ThRza that that comment was in response to one of the admins yelling “you can’t do anything to me I’m higher ranking” and another admin slaying that admin then laughing and talking crap. I am just apalled by the lack of oversight and the way admins behave on different platforms. At this point I feel like I have nothing else to add. Admins will be admins and players will be players.

ThRza I can grab them tomorrow at some point. I appreciate the admins on the server and I commend you actually for being one of the ones that I see take the lead in a positive way more often.

uhhhhhhhhhh chief, 18 t's to 1 ct isn't something admins can do anything about we cant force people to play ct only move people to t for ratio. So this farces is completly baseless.

"Teleport is only for players who are stuck, and you may only use noclip if it is to get yourself unstuck."

 

that is straight from the admin rules if this infraction did actually happen please inform us through and admin complaint.

This can be commonly misconceived I have had many interactions with players that complain about a situation that has already been dealt with or is going to be dealt with, but with a server of 40 people there are usually multiple complaints about infractions with the rules and we can't do all of them all at once. I'm not saying what you are saying is false I am just stating that I have some misconceptions about your statement based on experiences I have had on the servers as an administrator and if you could provide proof this could help properly address the issue you are bringing to our attention.

With more than a couple admins on a server and 40+ people on there are a lot of situations that have to be dealt with leading to the fact the chat can be flooded by commands. Also people will commonly report through admin chat which normal players cannot see so this "random stuff" is probably reported situations that you weren't aware of.
