I was playing JB and this CT was blatantly locking on to people’s heads. Spoke to an admin and he said that having it on and using it are two different things. I know that he doesn’t make the rules so I didn’t argue. I find this pretty stupid because although the admin kicked the guy and told him to turn it off, I thought ALL cheating was bannable. It’s just unfair that bhop is an instant ban but aimlock (without killing anyone with it) isn’t. Can someone clarify a little further?

For the most part, unless specified otherwise, cheats are bannable. Ultimately it’s up to the admin and how they want to handle the situation. 1) Someone locking onto people's heads is still using cheats.

 

2) Cheating is an instant ban, they shouldn't be kicked.

 

3) Bhop scripting isn't an instant ban, it's warn then ban.
