I think some time down the line we'll have a definitive answer as to whether discord will be the one to fully switch to. Similar to when we switched from ventrilo to teamspeak, there was a point where everyone agreed that it was just time to switch products - but it doesn't seem like now is the time for a full Discord switch.

 

Full disclosure - I like TS and can see why people want to stay on it, but eventually if discord keeps working on their shit it'll be pretty clear that it's time to move when everything is lined up.

Literally the only problem I have with discord at this point is that it can't handle voice channels as well as teamspeak and ours is full of weebs drooling over softcore 2d porn.

 

Would be more than willing to support this endeavor if at least the first issue is addressed by discord as switching to discord only at the moment would likely kill off a very large source of discussion within the community.

TS sucks for text, which is why I avoided it in the past. I like having Twitch/Youtube playing and don't really want to mute it to listen to a bunch of weebs talk about anime titties.
