The Battlegrounds were double the size, (Like Cathal Valley which was the Midgards, Hibernians, and Albions fighting over a keep built into the mountain), and the Open PVP area was larger. Warhammer has multiple Islands in each area for the PVP, but DAoC had the PVP area a large amount of connected continents with Keeps, Fortresses, Towers, respectively placed strategically around. Warhammer PVP is actually smaller then DAoC PVP. Link to comment

Every other place only had a few outposts, maximum 5. AV is the only with multiple strategic points. Even in the other places, like AB the only one that was in a good position was the Lumber mill.
