Flashbang assist KOS?

Since adding the new flashbang assist, I've been wondering whether or not this would be considered KOS, as it is an assist of killing a CT...

 

While it's not damaging a CT, it does contribute greatly to the death of the CT. Personally, I think it would help level the CT to T win ratio a bit so I would not mind adding this rule, however I'm open to other opinions so feel free to share them...

No you are not attempting to damage a CT that's like saying hey CT look at me and them a T knifes him in the back because he looked at you. It is not KOS.

This would not be considered kos unless they damaged the CT with the flashbang

 

I wouldn’t want to buff CTs by having them be able to kill players for the smallest of things such as flashing someone. Most of the time players use flash bangs to annoy the guards rather then help their teammates get kills

yeah flashbang assists are pretty much hah you didn't look away dumb peanut brain. I agree that it should not count as a KOS but it could get mixed with regular assists sometimes.

flashbang assists aren't KOS since you are not damaging a CT, you are just flashing them

The JB team will see if we can possible disable flashbang assists, but as of right now you cannot kill off of a flashbang assist unless it does damage on a ct.
