Andrew Posted May 8, 2019 Content Count: 537 Joined: 06/02/17 Status: Offline Share Posted May 8, 2019 Here's a fun question you have a cone with a height of 10cm and a radius of 4cm and a water container is filling it at a rate of 2cm³/sec how fast is the water level rising at a height of 3cm. Isnt it just 2cm cubed considering the rate of water is constant? Link to comment
Tweedledee Posted May 8, 2019 Content Count: 331 Joined: 01/06/19 Status: Offline Share Posted May 8, 2019 6/2(1+2) What normally people around the middle school age group would do is distributive property. (This is where people get 1 and causing the internet to kill each other) The answer with or without PEMDAS = 9 Answer with Distribution = 1 Let's see how if you're low iq, let's separate it. 6/2 and (1+2) You add 1+2 6/2(3) 6/2=3 3(3)=9 Now let's try it with distributive property. 6/2(1+2) 6/(2+4) 6/6 = 1 Now what do I believe in? If it's comparing equations, use distributive/ any property required to solve it. Other than that, no, use pemdas and be normal. Answer is 9, settled. You forgot to close the thread Link to comment
