So i recently joined Final Battleground to play on our DE/CS server, but i gotta say the website doesnt really explain what they are about that much.

I understand that the more i play the higher rank i get and the more Plinks i get, only thing i dont get is what do you do with them, and trust me i wandered around the site for a good 25 minutes trying to find out.

So im requesting a "Final BattleGround for Dummies" guide, so get to work people.

The whole system is based on achievements, while I can't exactly give you a description of what plinks are for as I don't bother to check up on it, I can tell you a little bit about FBG.

As you play you can receive awards and ranks, every award has certain requirements such as hours of gameplay, kills, when you get the kill, headshots, or amount of kills in a round or over two/three rounds, killstreaks, ect. ect.

A good site to view awards and requirements is their wiki:

http://wiki.finalbattleground.com/

On there, just skimming the plinks area, I got a small idea of what they're for.

FBG allows you to host online battles with other players/clans and the plinks are used for troops it says, so perhaps a little like an RTS game, where your clanmates gain the plinks so the clan can have a bigger army in the online part.

As for the awards or ranks, you get nothing special other than bragging rights and incentive to use different guns more or less. I say less, because certain guns give more or less plinks as you can see on the plinks section of the Wiki the plinks per kill modifiers. Common weapons or easy to kill weapons give less plinks, and harder weapons and pistols tend to give more.

I used to play use FBG in my old clan and i got a lot of plinks. All the plinks do is you spend them for troops so for example. 100 plinks may be 10 troops. These troops then take territories on a world map or on a map of a specific continent. Bigger clans will have a lot more plink gainers and therefore will have more troops to take places. If you wanna get into more details about this RTS game i suggest you ask whoever controls our armies on it. Im guessing mnote or hag. As for the rank, bragging rights and makes your e-penis bigger

I don't really want to get too involved with FBG. We're just hoarding up the plinks to make us a wealthy and huge clan.

The achievements is a good bonus to playing regular CS:S all the time. :thumbup1:

Well anyone who is interested in doing this sorta thing could do it i think if they are given the authority to. Its a slow game, that starts of at a specific time. You choose your moves, then once the time limit is up, they are moved, battles are fought if 2 clans clash and whoever has most plinks -> troops in that specific army, will win, however u can alter little details in these i think. Goes like this until the objective FBG set is done. E.G. The clan that occupies X % of the map
