New Stand-up mic

I am looking for a new stand-up mic, and suggestions. Maybe a headset you like with a good mic? Mainly looking for a mic upgrade.

This should do the trick for you. It's a favorite of Louis CK, Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle!

 

Seriously tho if you're investing that much in a mic, don't limit your options to stands that come with attached stands when you could easily pick up a quality stand or arm for $10-$20.

I am personally using the HyperX Quadcast cardioid mic which features a rad design, crispy audio, directional settings, and - a stand. I love that mic and would recommend it to anyone, but you should listen to audio samples and reviews to decide what mic is best for you.

 

I have also heard good things about the mic quality on HyperX's headphones, but cannot personally vouch for those claims. Alternatively, if you like your current headset, you could consider a ModMic - a headset style mic that can be adhered or clipped to your current pair of headphones.

I got the hyperx cloud alphas for I think somewhere around $100 and the headset themselves are really good, and the mic is also somewhat of quality.

There’s an accessory u can get with it which is another cable that provides surround sound which makes directional hearing a lot better, I haven’t really testing it out without the surround sound tho tbh.
